Mission Statement...

The Mission of Peniel United Methodist Church is to prepare disciples to function with the guidance of the Holy Spirit by tending to the needs of our members, becoming a welcoming institution to our community, and spreading the traditional values throughout the world.

Our goals include:

• Support and be supported by the United Methodist connectional system

  • Continue the Disciple Bible Study

  • To be peacemakers between people and in the world

• Reinvigorate the church school and other Christian education endeavors.

  • Training in Faith Sharing

  • Bring a friend to church Sunday

  • Encourage participation in Lay Speakers Course

  • Offering an alter call

  • Be more hospitable and enable the creation of more small groups

  • Computer lab for the community

  • Increase choir membership

• To create and promote opportunities for spiritual growth in younger populations

  • Offer more opportunities for youth ministry

  • Identify special talents and interests of our members, and connect them with ministries of their interest

  • Keep offering vacation Bible school

• Make more use of member talent and fundraising skills

  • Sub sale

  • Suppers (spaghetti, meatball, pancake)
